TERMS AND CONDITIONS

There is a minimum order amount of $25.00 on plants and supplies (excluding shipping & taxes) and a $5.00 boxing charge on plant and supply orders. Because of the many variables involved for shipping calculations we invoice the customer separately for shipping in order to keep shipping charges fair, accurate and personalized. A shipping invoice will be issued to you by email after we receive your order, the order will be considered completed after the shipping invoice has been paid in full. As we do not have time to constantly remind customers of the minimum order amount, a top-up charge bringing the order to the minimum $25.00 will be added without notification to the shipping invoice of those customers that have not read, followed or paid attention to the minimum order requirement. A $5.00 service charge will be levied on refund requests which are based on a customers failure to read these terms and conditions or dissatisfaction with the Canada Post shipping rate therefore it is in the customers best interest to confirm shipping charges before completing their order. Please see our international page for ordering conditions if purchasing from outside of Canada.

Canadian web orders completed by 5:00 pm PST Saturday are shipped by the following Tuesday, orders completed after that time are included in the following weeks shipment.  Canada Post Xpresspost is the default method used for shipping plants, Xpresspost with signature must be used for guaranteed live delivery from November 1st to March 31. If Expedited Parcel or Regular Post is used during these months Canada Post WILL FREEZE YOUR PLANTS! There is no minimum order amount for seed purchases. If only purchasing seed please use the postage purchase buttons at the bottom of the seed list, no other shipping charges will be invoiced for seed orders, Xpresspost with signature must be used for guaranteed live seed delivery November 1st to March 31.

Safe arrival of live plants is guaranteed by the above terms, any claims must be made within 3 days of receipt of your order as determined by Canada Post tracking and must be accompanied by a picture of the plant in question. Due to the specific cultural requirements of carnivorous plants we cannot guarantee the customers success in maintaining the plants but we are very willing to provide after sales assistance to help you care for your plant. As we always have a very busy schedule during the day all plant care inquiries are dealt with outside of business hours and should be made through email here.
