PAYMENT OPTIONS

PayPal is our payment option of choice but
we also take VISA, MasterCard, Cheque or
Money Order. A PayPal account is not needed
to use your credit card through the secure
online checkout and there are no additional
costs associated with using that service.
Other advantages of using the online checkout
include ease of use and faster processing of
your order.
Should the customer wish to use a credit
card to make a purchase, please
contact us
by email
with a list of the items you wish to
purchase, your postal code and a return
email address. An invoice with the
total of the purchase, shipping, handling
and taxes will be emailed back to you for
approval. If satisfied with your invoice you
can phone or fax your credit card details to
us for processing. As most of the time we
are working away from the telephone and
Credit Card terminal we would like you to
please leave your name, phone number and a
brief message concerning your desire to make
a credit card payment and we'll get back to
you to complete your order asap.

SHIPPING
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Because of the many variables involved for
shipping calculations (ie. order size,
weight, customer location) we have opted to
invoice the customer separately for shipping
in order to keep shipping charges fair,
accurate and personalized. Canadian web
orders completed by 5:00 pm PST Saturday are
shipped by the following Tuesday, orders
completed after that time are included in
the following weeks shipment. Canada Post is
used for shipping all of our online orders.
There is a minimum order amount of $25.00 on
plants and supplies (excluding shipping) and
a $5.00 boxing fee on plant and supply orders. There
is no minimum order amount for seed
purchases. If only purchasing seed please
use the postage purchase buttons at the
bottom of the seed list.
Please see additional shipping instructions on the
right.
For postal shipping, the plants are removed
from their pots and the rhizome section is
wrapped with damp long fiber sphagnum to
prevent roots and bulb from drying out.
Insulated packaging is used during the
winter shipping season and heat packs can be
added for a modest charge.
Smaller plants such as VFT's are rolled
in paper towel and placed in a Ziploc bag
which is carefully packaged in a box filled
with paper cushioning material. Sundews and
larger plants like Sarracenia & Nepenthes
are carefully sealed in a Ziploc bag with
protective air pocket and packaged in a
similar fashion. All plants come with their
own care tags for identification, brief
instructions and a link to more in-depth
care instructions. Customer feedback has
shown that this is an efficient yet cost
effective way to transport the plants
safely.
