Hi Rick,

Sorry about the silence; the plants arrived yesterday morning and I've been trying to get everything potted.

For the most part, everything looked great. The pings shipped better than I expected (those are the biggest Rizzi's I've ever seen,) and the flytraps look great. I was rushing to get everything into soil, so I neglected to take any cuttings from those massive sundew root-systems. I'm really regretting that now, so I'll probably be digging them up when I have some downtime in the Winter for some cheap propagation.

Hello there! I just wanted to thank you for some great looking plants!
They all arrived Thursday morning. I was very happy with the
sarracenia purpurea and was also pleased with the drosera aliciae. Its
already settling in well and starting to "pump out" dew. I'm excited
to see how the nepenthes rafflesiana grows! I can't even begin to
explain how excited I am about the cephalotus! It's amazing and even
bigger then I thought it would be considering I ordered a small plant!
The butterwort is lovely and also happens to be the fist one I have
ever owned! The flytraps are looking really nice.. Thanks very much
for the bonus red dragon! It's fantastic! I can't wait to use the
purpurea seeds! Anyways thanks again for everything and I'm sure I'll

Yes, I have! VERY good quality, I'm very very impressed! The colours on those flytraps are amazing!!! I'm going to post some stuff today on the forums, very nice ceph too. I loved it soo much!! The poor D. intermedia get a little crushed though, but it will survive, I see some tiny plants in/on it. :) Thank you so much!! How do you get the colour in your plants like that!? I want that colour! lol, you just grow them in full sun in a greenhouse? I'm very pleases with the plants, thanks again. I need to know how you get that colour... heehee. Truly amazing. Thanks!!!!!

Hello. I am happy to report that the plants arrived safely today and they look fantastic. Thank you for the awesome bonuses. The comparison between the natural and artificial light for P. laueana was striking, and I have taken pictures that I would hope to share with the ocps community. Unfortunately, my apartment does not receive much natural light, so I will have to make do with T5 fluorescents. I would definitely order from you again in the near future! :D

Hey Rick, I just got my plants today and got them all potted up! you do an absolutely amazing job at packaging and making the plants happy , and I thank you kindly for that, I especially love the cephalotus I potted it in a deep pot with rocks at the bottom and a peat sand perlite mix , with moss at the top and I placed a plastic dome over the top so hopefully it does okay , and for the darlingtonia would it be beneficial to water with chilled water ? and the nepenthes ampullaria x neo do you have a picture of what they look like larger it seems very interesting! thanks again for all the plants !

I am going to place a second order of plants with you so that we have a second set to rotate in and out of the exhibit. Unless the temperatures dip again I think that you can send these out via your normal methods rather than priority. I will fill out the order online tomorrow

The plants look great at the moment. I am a bit worried about the light and the humidity but we are working to optimize it as best we can. I am going to follow your suggestions on the website to put gravel in the trays under the pots. Any suggestions you can provide will be appreciated

Plants arrived yesterday. Got them about 11:00 a.m. at our local post office where they had them for me. They were in great condition.
I really like the Dielsiana as that's the one I most wanted to get. The portion of Tokaiensis was very generous- I split it into six separate pots and even then most had multiple plants. (Having re-read your website description I see this is normal but still its nice to get multiple plants).
And then to find an extra plant- the Binata was just the icing on the cake! I thought maybe you made an error then noticed your note at the bottom of
the shipping form. Thank you!

Hello, Rick

Thanks very much for the advice on feeding frequency. We have a shady porch on which we've kept the sundew over the summer. It loves it! Lots of little black flies to eat. I noticed a lot of little spider webs out there, and figured dozens of spiders couldn't be wrong. The plant is so happy that it's sprouted two flower stalks and has lots of new leaves.

My son is having a successful experience with the plants you grow, and is getting a lot of enjoyment from it.

Hi Rick,

The planting was a great success. We ended up with a 4-person assembly line that got everything potted up in about two hours.

The response to the plants in the school has been amazing. The kids have been totally taken with the flytraps and it's really generated a lot of excitement in the last few days before the production hit the stage.

I'll put a program in the mail to you right away. In the meantime, here are a couple of photos with many, many thanks from Almonte District High School for helping to make our Venus Flytrap Fundraiser a success!

Hey Rick, happy TGIF but I'm guessing you don't really get a weekend since you are your own boss - at least your doing something you have a passion for, not everyone gets that chance.

Anyways, I guess you saw my brief intro on OCPS - nice forum and everyone just raves about you so looks like you will have another satisfied/repeat customer. I thought I was going to mainly stick with Dionaea but now you got me wanting to expand into Drosera too - they don't take up much more space than Dionaea do anyways, now how can I convince my other half (thinking wheels are in motion!)?

Hello rick.

The Neps have arrived safely. Last night was around -2C so I was a little worried but they came today in great shape. Not a sign of frost. Some pitchers are a little weak (as expected) but everything looks awesome in the setup. I also just about used all that soil planting them up. I have about 1/4 bag left which is perfect. I'm glad I listened and ordered more soil!

Anyways just giving you a quick update, I will be gone for most of this weekend however the plants are watered and should be fine until I get back. Thanks again rick!

It's Scott from Ontario. I just got my lance leaf sundew today. Thanks very much for the bonus Drosera tokaiensis, it is very much appreciated. The plants seem to be in pretty good shape. Also I found a long stem with flower buds on it in the container with the plants. I am not sure which plant it came from because it must have broken off during shipping. Do you think that the plant will generate another flower stem?
